How do you know you have come across a horse racing tipster that is genuine? It is a really difficult task to decide if one is genuine or not. Probably the first thing you should look for on the tipsters website is a FULL results history of the tips that have been given out. If the results are easy to find and are detailed then there is a good chance that these are genuine. What you have to remember is that if the tipster has several members and publishes false results then they could end up in lots of trouble. If the website in question has a forum or message board then maybe try and get in touch with some existing members and ask for some details on the site and just check the tips are authentic. Have a good look around the tipsters website. You will probably be able to make a good judgement call, based on the content of the website. If it is a site with only one or two pages and has pop ups then you may wish to avoid it. If there are some really informative pages and the website is rich in content then you will probably find it is a trustworthy site. Try and pick yourself a tips website that does not require substantial sums of money to paid up front or tipsters that ask you to place bets for them. Please avoid these services as you are on a hiding to nothing. Placing bets for someone else as well as yourself is going to lead to a loss for you and a gain for the tipster. If you find a tipster that offers a free trial or a small fee per tip then this would probably be the way to go. Finding a genuine racing tipster that shows consistent profits is a real hard task, but they do exist and as long as you take your time and find the service that suits you, then you should not encounter too many problems. Do not sign up to expensive subscription websites and you won't go far wrong. If you don't have to part with too much money then you will not go far wrong.
